Mozart Group (Pre-Twinklers, Ages 4-6)

Description

This course is designed for beginner students, ages 4-6, who are just starting to learn the violin. We focus on motivating and encouraging our very young students to showcase their abilities in a group setting in each class while they learn the fundaments of violin technique, posture, balance, rhythm and ear training in a fun and educational environment.

– Classes are in-person and they are in-addition to private lessons

– Parents are recommended to be present during the class and help their children with their postures

– Proof of vaccination (at least one dose) is required for parents to be able to join the class.

Duration of each session: Up to 40 minutes

This course is designed for beginner students, ages 6-10, who have passed the first song of Suzuki book 1 (Twinkle song). We focus on improving listening, fundaments of violin technique, rhythm, posture, balance, team performance in a fun and educational environment.

Bach Group (RCM Level 1-3)

Description

This course is designed for students who have finished the Suzuki Book 1. We focus on preparing students for their RCM exams by focusing on the technical aspects of the violin, the posture, etudes, and also pieces from level 1 -3 of the RCM repertoire. Students are usually not motivated to learn the technical aspects of the violin even though the technical aspects are the most important aspects of playing the violin. In this class, we will work on the technical parts in an encouraging and motivating environment.

– Parents who have proof of vaccination are welcome to be present in the class.
